ASUME

About Us

Who are we building for?

ASUME is built for teams and agents that need to understand companies before producing objective-dependent outputs or taking action.

The underlying company state is not tied to one workflow. The same structured understanding can support different objectives, including revenue, marketing, partnerships, customer success, risk analysis, and agent workflows.

ASUME’s first operational focus is revenue teams, because the cost of poor company understanding is especially visible there: the wrong companies are prioritised, relevant needs are missed, messages are poorly matched, and opportunities are acted on too late or not at all.

This focus has three parts.

Revenue teams

Revenue teams include the people responsible for identifying, qualifying, approaching, converting, expanding, and retaining business opportunities. For these teams, the problem is not simply finding more companies. It is understanding which companies matter, why they matter, what appears to be happening inside them, where a relevant need or opportunity exists, and what action should follow. Without that understanding, teams can prioritise the wrong accounts, miss relevant opportunities, approach companies with the wrong message, or spend time reconstructing context that already exists elsewhere.

ASUME turns available company information into structured, evidence-linked understanding that revenue teams can inspect and use when deciding what to do next.

Different objectives, shared understanding

Different teams ask different questions about the same company. A sales team may want to know whether a company is worth approaching. A marketing team may want to understand which message is most relevant. A partnerships team may want to identify where two companies fit together. A customer-success team may want to identify changing needs, risks, or expansion opportunities. The outputs differ, but much of the underlying company state does not.

ASUME first constructs a structured view of the company, including its needs, capabilities, constraints, priorities, and other relevant characteristics. That understanding can then be reused to generate outputs for the objective at hand. This separates understanding the company from deciding what to do with that understanding.

Teams and agents at scale

ASUME is designed for company understanding to be shared rather than reconstructed independently by every person, workflow, or agent. Team members can inspect, challenge, correct, and validate the structured understanding using their own domain knowledge. Agents can use the same underlying state instead of repeatedly reasoning over the raw information from the beginning. This creates a common inference layer across people, teams, and automated workflows while keeping the underlying evidence and assumptions available for review. The initial focus is revenue teams. The broader design is for any team or agent that needs structured, traceable, and revisable company understanding before taking action.

Understanding across companies

ASUME is not designed only for understanding one company at a time. It is designed for situations where the same questions need to be answered consistently across many companies. A revenue team may need to understand which companies in a market show a particular need. A partnerships team may need to compare where different companies fit. An agent may need to evaluate hundreds or thousands of companies against the same objective. Without a structured company state, this requires repeatedly searching, reading, interpreting, and reasoning from raw information for every company. The result is difficult to compare and difficult to maintain consistently at scale.

ASUME creates the same underlying structure across companies so that needs, capabilities, constraints, priorities, assumptions, and evidence can be compared using a common frame while preserving the context of each company. This enables understanding to move from individual companies to portfolios of companies without reducing every company to a single score or static profile.
