Objectives

Overview

ASUME separates understanding a company from using that understanding for a particular purpose.

An objective is the work the team is trying to do. It determines which parts of a maintained company understanding are relevant, what additional reasoning should be performed over them, and what output should be produced.

Changing the objective does not change the underlying company. The same understanding can support Revenue, Partnerships, Risk, and other objectives without reconstructing the company for each one.
