Quickstart
ASUME is currently available by invitation. Once you receive access, this guide takes you from your invitation to your first traceable result: enter your workspace, add the companies you want to understand, choose an objective, and inspect the evidence behind ASUME's output.
If you do not have access yet, you can request an invitation.
Accept your invitation
When your access is ready, ASUME will send you an invitation to join a workspace. Follow the invitation to create your account and enter ASUME.
Your workspace is where your company lists, objectives, sources, understanding, and outputs are kept. If you are joining an existing workspace, the access available to you will depend on your workspace permissions.
Add the companies you want to understand
Start by creating a list of companies. You can add companies you already know or ask ASUME to help you find companies relevant to what you are trying to do.
ASUME uses the information available to it to build an understanding of each company in the list. This can include public company information and, where enabled and authorised, information from connected sources.
Start with a focused list. You can expand it as you learn what is useful for your objective.
Choose your objective
Tell ASUME what you want to understand the companies for. An objective determines which parts of the company understanding matter for the result.
For example:
Find mid-market SaaS companies expanding into Europe that fit our security product.
ASUME applies the objective to the companies in your list and uses its maintained understanding of each company to identify the most relevant results.
Changing the objective changes how the company understanding is used. It does not require ASUME to construct a completely different version of the company.
Review the result and its evidence
Open a result to understand why ASUME produced it. You can inspect the relevant company understanding, supporting evidence, assumptions, and gaps that contributed to the output.
This is where ASUME's traceability becomes useful. A result is not presented only as a score or recommendation; its relevant basis remains available for inspection.
If an important conclusion depends on something ASUME cannot establish from the available evidence, that gap should remain visible rather than being presented as fact.
Keep using the understanding
ASUME maintains its understanding of the companies you work with rather than starting from an empty state every time you ask a new question.
As relevant information changes, the company understanding can be updated and previous conclusions can be reconsidered. The same understanding can also be used for different questions, objectives, and outputs.
