The ASUME application is the primary interface for working directly with maintained company understanding. It brings company exploration, objectives, outputs, their basis, and Ask ASUME into one workspace.

The application is an interface to ASUME, not a separate company understanding. As additional interfaces become available, the same maintained understanding can be used without reconstructing the company for each environment.

The application brings the main ways of working with ASUME together in one place.

These actions work from the company understanding ASUME already maintains rather than creating a new representation for each task.

One understanding across interfaces

The application is the first interface to ASUME's maintained company understanding, but it is not intended to be the only one.

As interfaces such as Companion, Slack, Microsoft Teams, API, and MCP become available, they can provide different ways to use the same underlying understanding, subject to the permissions and context available in each environment.

The interface can change. The underlying understanding does not.
