When to use it
Choose Grok 5.6 when you want xAI's latest frontier capability on a question you would otherwise ask with Corollary or another supported model.
The company understanding, evidence, and assumptions available to the answer stay the same. Only the model that reasons over them changes.
How it reasons
Grok 5.6 reasons over the shared maintained understanding. It does not become the understanding, and it does not replace Corollary as the default ASUME model.
The basis of the result stays inspectable through traceability.
Pricing
Grok 5.6 is billed as Model usage at the published ASUME rate. Understanding usage is measured separately. All prices are per million tokens.
