Privacy & Data Protection

How ASUME handles personal and workspace data in the product: what your team connects, who can access it, and what admins control. For ASUME's formal privacy notice and lawful bases, see the Privacy Policy under Legal.

Overview

ASUME workspaces may contain CRM records, meeting notes, call transcripts, integration data, business contact information, and AI-generated output tied to company research.

This page explains how privacy works in the product for team admins and reviewers: what ASUME stores, how workspaces are isolated, and what your organisation controls.

It is an operational guide. It does not replace ASUME's Privacy Policy, which describes how ASUME acts as controller or processor and sets out data subject rights under applicable law.

Workspace data

ASUME processes data you connect through integrations such as CRM, Slack, Microsoft Teams, GitHub, and document repositories, together with public company signals used for objective matching.

Prompts, configuration, inference output, reasoning traces, and collaboration activity are stored to power feed, lists, objectives, and exports for your workspace.

Roles and responsibility

When your organisation uses ASUME for its business, your organisation is responsible for deciding what data is submitted, which integrations are connected, and whether required notices and lawful bases are in place.

Admins should configure member roles, integration scopes, and connected sources so only appropriate data enters the workspace.

Access and isolation

Workspace data is isolated per tenant. Only invited members can access objectives, connected sources, and output for that workspace.

Enterprise customers can enforce SSO, map IdP groups to roles, and apply admin controls that limit who can connect sources or export data.

Retention and deletion

Connected source data and workspace output are retained while the workspace is active and integrations remain connected, unless your plan or agreement specifies otherwise.

Admins can disconnect sources, remove members, and request workspace deletion. Contact us for export, contractual retention, or migration needs.

Individuals in your data

Workspace data may include information about business contacts, employees, or other individuals mentioned in CRM records, transcripts, or uploaded files.

If someone asks about personal data processed in your workspace, they should normally contact your organisation first. ASUME assists customers under the applicable Data Processing Agreement where ASUME acts as processor.
